Seawatch Southwest - YELKOUAN SHEARWATERS

Once again, Seawatch Southwest are partaking in daily seawatches from Gwennap Head, Porthgwarra, West Cornwall, for the fourth year in succession, predominantly in the task of counting and documenting the BALEARIC SHEARWATER passage off of there. A summary of daily sightings can be found here - http://www.seawatch-sw.org/results/results_2010.html

Interestingly, following on from last year, YELKOUAN SHEARWATERS, possibly of the Minorcan form, are being seen with some regularity, with at least 5 reported in the past week.
